Phil Bass: Assistant Professor – Meat Science, University of Idaho
The historic Panida Theater is launching a new educational series, Science on Saturday this weekend. Sponsored by Daher, Science on Saturday features four guest speakers from the University of Idaho and FREE admission. All ages are welcome, with the presentation targeted at engaging middle to high school students.
Wildly engaging and hilarious speaker; Phil applies industry experience to teach, advise students and others involved in the Pacific Northwest meat production and processing community; conducts applied research in meat quality with emphasis in beef.

First come, first serve general admission seating.
Full capacity auditorium, hosting a maximum of four hundred and fifty (450) guests. Advance tickets are recommended, but not required. The Panida Theater strongly encourages all guests to wear a mask, regardless of vaccine status, while enjoying performances.
