Panida board pledges $10,000 match in fall fundraising drive

‍SANDPOINT –  The Panida Theater has launched its annual autumn fundraising campaign with a goal of raising $25,000 in operating support by its annual membership meeting on Tuesday, October 27.

To kick off the campaign, members of the Panida Board of Directors have collectively pledged $10,000 of their own money to match the first $10,000 donated by community members before the meeting.

"We're asking our community to invest in the Panida's future, and we're going first," said Panida Board Chair Amy Flint. "Our board members believe deeply in this wonderful old theater and are confident about where it's headed. We hope the community will join us."

The campaign comes as the Panida prepares for its centennial year in 2027. The theater has a busy schedule of performances and events through the end of 2026, while its board and staff are working collaboratively to strengthen operations and expand its role as the community's performing arts center.

Funds raised through the autumn campaign will support ongoing operations, including staffing, utilities, insurance, maintenance and programming. The appeal is separate from the Panida's Century Fund, which remains active in support of a series of capital improvements to the historic theater.

The Panida's annual membership meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, at the theater. The meeting will include a report on the past year, a look ahead to 2027 and voting by members on nominees to the Board of Directors.
