About the Concert
Please join us for a special evening of music benefiting Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity. International award-winning pianist Jim-Isaac Chua presents an evening showcasing the influences composers carried across time, tracing how musical ideas passed from one generation to the next. The program features masterpieces by Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, Debussy, and more — including the virtuosic Liszt Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 and beloved favorites like Clair de Lune — paired with Chua's own personal and engaging introductions to each piece. All proceeds from the evening go directly toward Panhandle Habitat for Humanity's work in our community.

About Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity
Since 1991, Idaho Panhandle Habitat for Humanity has worked toward a simple vision: everyone deserves a decent, affordable place to call home. Serving families throughout Bonner County, Habitat builds and repairs homes in partnership with local families who put in hundreds of hours of "sweat equity" alongside community volunteers, working on their own home and others nearby. Habitat welcomes volunteers and homeowners of every background. Between builds, the Sandpoint ReStore — which sells donated furniture, appliances, and building materials to the public — helps sustain the organization's work year-round. Every ticket purchased tonight helps bring a Bonner County family closer to a place of their own.

About Jim-Isaac Chua
Since his solo debut at Carnegie Hall in 2009, Filipino-American pianist Jim-Isaac Chua has performed in concert halls, palaces, and cultural institutions across more than a dozen countries — from the United States and Canada to China, Japan, Poland, France, Italy, and Austria. His playing has been praised by Radio Szczecin as "an incredible feast for the ears," and noted classical music commentator Lani Spahr has praised his "prodigious talent — with technique to burn." He was recently featured on the Emmy Award-winning program Oregon Art Beat (OPB) broadcast on PBS, which followed him beyond the concert hall to show how he brings artistic depth, genuine warmth, and world-class classical music to communities across the Northwest.
