Hi Panida Patrons! Feels Like Summer!

Hi Panida Patrons! Feels Like Summer!

I hope this message finds you well. I write this after returning from a girls trip to Hawaii! It was my first trip away from my 2 year old daughter. It was the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.

While I was away the Panida team really stepped up! Josh took lead on the Jim Messina concert WHICH WAS A BLAST! And thanks to the help of Nancy Yacovone our volunteer coordinator, Katelyn Shook, Doug Jones, Jim Healey and MANY other helping hands the show went off without a hitch!

Jim Messina’s Road Manager told me the next day ‘Jimmy and the boys felt so welcomed and they absolutely loved the Panida and the whole Sandpoint experience.’

Thank you to everyone who stepped up and brought this show to life and made the band feel welcomed. The Panida wouldn’t be what it is without each of you!

Also, Jim and his band and our community jammed out! People were dancing up front in the aisles. It was SO FUN! Thank you to everyone who attended.

This last weekend also concluded the Lake Pend Oreille Repertory Theatre performance of the hit Broadway musical Into the Woods. That show just blew me out of the water - the amount of talent we have in this time is amazing. They will be back this September!

This week I also had the honor of gifting two Sandpoint Seniors Fallyn Sinnott O’Connor and Macy Korsten. Fallyn will attend BSU and will become an author. Macy will attend UofI and will double major in virtual technology and acting.

It was an honor to give scholarships to both of these individuals. Thank you to everyone who helps to put on the Crazy Day sale like Susan Bates-Harbuck and Steve Garvan.

The funding for the Panida Scholarship comes from our Crazy Day sale at the end of July - so be sure to stop by and buy your records because the proceeds go to the amazing youth in our community!

Then TONIGHT - Katelyn Shook, of the Shook Twins - I’m sure you’ve heard of her ;) - is performing her FIRST solo performance in the Little Theater. Katelyn, and two other local musicians, Larsen Gardens and Josh Hedlund will share stories and songs in the round at the Panida Little Theater. These three artists will perform solo and collaborate with each other for this intimate performance. There are ONLY 20 tickets left, buy your tickets here!

Then next week we are hosting the Allegro Spring Recital. Buy tickets here

Then on June 8, a comedian with a Netflix Special and on Comedy Central is coming to the Panida. Paul Virzi Paul Virzi is fresh off the release of his critically acclaimed Netflix special, "Nocturnal Admissions," directed by Pete Davidson, which received RAVE reviews.
