FUN BUSY KINDA MONTH!

Hi Panida Patrons!

How are you? I’m doing well, June has been such a FUN BUSY KINDA MONTH and we are in the thick of it!

Last week we had a packed house for NETFLIX and Comedy Central Comedian Paul Virzi who left the crowd and yours truly laughing. He then came out to the front after the show and chatted with everyone who attened. A very nice and humble guy who wants to work with me to do a larger comedy tour with some bigger names in the upcoming years and the Panida would headline them! Exciting stuff there.

Then on Saturday thanks to Jerry and Becky Luther and some amazing and generous people who donated OVER $2,450 so we could host the New Old Time Chautauqua! This event was uplifting and had an air of nostalgia as this was the Panida’s first show back in around 1985 when the Panida re-opened under Karen Bowers as the new Managing Director - Panida Historians fact check me here if I’m wrong ;)

This is what we have on deck this week:

Studio 1 Sandpoint is hosting their Enchanted Princesses Recital June 13 and June 15 starting at 6:30 pm. This performance showcases some of their more senior dancers who are dancing to classical princess music - truly magical!

Then on June 14 join us as we kick off our Surprise Summer Series sponsored by Bleeding Hearts Tattoo Emporium! It's called Surprise Summer Film because you don't know what the film is before it STARTS. We hope you join us for this fun summer night!

On June 16 P join Pend Oreille Pedalers (POP), Sandpoint's local trails organization and cycling club, for a movie premiere event to support the development and construction of Sandpoint's first public mountain bike skills park. The Engine Inside film reveals the unique power of the bicycle to change lives and build a better world. I hope to see you there to support this amazing non-profit organization!

On June 17 we are hosting a garage sale in the Little Theater - proceeds from this garage sale will go towards our tech fund so we can buy some updated sound equipment! The garage sale is from 8 am - 3 pm in the Little Theater.

Thank you as always to our amazing team of volunteers and to our amazing volunteer coordinator Nancy Yacovone who truly puts the bow on these events. We couldn’t do it without them!

Cheers,

Lauren
